Michael Rooney

Head Instructor - Faixa Preta (BJJ Black Belt - 3rd Degree)

Having trained in a variety of martial arts during the course of his life, Michael believes in the value of continued training and learning. He recommends that all his students compete (at least once), and stay active in their training.

Having trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 15 years, on November 5th, 2011, he was promoted to Black Belt by Roy Harris.

All subsequent degrees have been delivered by Rafa Santos.

With the success and growth of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the last decade, there is no standstill, and to increase his knowledge and stay current, Michael continuously trains with other top instructors.
